Sintex – Wausaukee Composites’ precision processes allow production of a wide spectrum of complex shapes, and achievement of highly detailed radiuses, corners and surface contours. Wausaukee Composites utilizes SurfCAM in conjunction with PRO/Engineer design software to directly upload models for multi axis CNC machines to achieve precise and repeatable fixture design and fabrication.

Tooling Guidelines

Mold construction can be epoxy, aluminum, or steel
  • Epoxy – lower volume parts, good for shorter runs depending on part geometry
  • Aluminum – more durable, good for mid-size projects and number of parts
  • Steel – most durable, used for higher volume processes and number of parts
